Happy Girl

Doesn't this smile just make you want to give this girl whatever she asks for? We can tell already that this kid is going to be an expensive one...just how much is a pony anyway?

Grandma and Grandpa Baggerman come to visit...

Anna got to meet her Grandma and Grandpa Baggerman this past weekend. She had such a good time with them--trying some authentic Texas food (Mexican and barbeque), going to the butterfly exhibit at the museum, and spending some fun time just hanging out around the house!

The greatest store on Earth

Anna took her first trip to Crate & Barrel last week. Needless to say, she was impressed (don't let the picture fool you...she was riveted by their interesting selection and reasonable prices). Her only complaint was that she had been alive for 9 whole weeks before experiencing the joy that is Crate & Barrel...

Happy Mother's Day!!

While Lily hasn't exactly embraced the idea of her new "sister" Anna yet, she does seem to be warming up to her. They bonded over baby paraphenalia yesterday. Who knew bouncy seats had such appeal even on the feline circuit?

Grandpa, NOOO!!!

This was a close one...we asked Grandpa to feed Anna a snack, and he pulled out the Cheetos! Luckily, we were able to stop him in time to get her a little bit heathier snack (Baked Lays).

Snuggler

This is one of Anna's (and Mommy's!) newest favorite activities. Anna naps in the Baby Papasan in the warm steamy bathroom while Mommy takes as long of a shower as she wants...everyone's happy! Anna's quite the snuggler these days...she even manages to snuggle up with the Papasan!

Making new friends...

Anna spent Easter weekend making new friends! Above is my oldest and closest friend Emily with her adorable son Nicholas. He was born January 26th, so he and Anna are almost the same age! Anna was pretty impressed with Nicholas's NASA jumpsuit...

Anna enjoyed "brunching" with her new friend Kylie. Kylie will be 1 year old in March, so she's a "big kid" to Anna right now! Kylie is the beautiful daughter of my college roommate and dear friend Heather, and her very nice husband Scott.

Sorry its been a while since we updated the blog...we're a little behind...

Happy Birthday, Mommy!

A big happy birthday from Anna to Mommy! Anna promised a day of no fussing and to finish all 4oz of her bottle every time, and was doing great, but then kept Mommy up for a couple hours overnight just to hang out. It's probably because of the stories Daddy told her about how Mommy used to celebrate her birthday in her college days, when midnight to 4am were the prime hours! Different kinds of bottles, though.

Also, you'll notice Anna's kickin her bunny jams in celebration of Easter!

Anna wanted to send a very special birthday wish to her Nana today!! We love you very much!

Cousins Natalie and Sydney

Bathtime for Anna's cousins Natalie and Sydney! She's going to get to meet them for the first time this Easter weekend.

Anna's been trying to encourage them to get into the 21st century and get their own blog...she may try to teach them a thing or two about blogging this weekend! :-)

Visit with her great grandmother

Tummy time!

We made our first attempt at "tummy time" today...it very quickly turned into "naptime". I guess we now know Anna's a fan of sleeping on her stomach! Silly American Academy of Pediatrics trying to force us to make her sleep on her back...

Shop til you drop

Anna's first trip to the mall! She insisted on buying a few new summer outfits, and we indulged her. I mean, you're only "3 - 6 mo." old once, right? "Nanny Melanie" came with us on our mall adventure...she was such a sweetie and walked around with Anna while Mommy shopped for herself a little bit!

Working hard for a living...

Monday was Anna and my first day at home alone without Daddy...he had to go back to work :-(. My work colleagues were having a going-away lunch for our secretary, so we decided to venture out and join them for lunch. I was quite nervous, but it was a success! Anna was a perfect angel during all of lunch, and loved being held by some of my work friends. Pictured here: Jan, Carla, Vickie, and David.
