Spending time in the pool has become one of Anna's favorite late afternoon/evening activities. She's decided to take advantage of being able to wear a bikini for a few years before she hits puberty and Daddy puts an end to her midriff-bearing days.
...through the night!!
Anna couldn't be more excited to wish the best Daddy in the world a "Happy Father's Day!" today. She tried to get up and cook him breakfast this morning, but it turns out that "rolling over" and "sitting up" are earlier on the developmental milestone chart than "making scrambled eggs". We're not quite there yet. Oh well...maybe next year!
As Anna gains more and more control of her head, the world is becoming ever more exciting! She's enjoying tummy time more and more these days, and loves to just be carried around so that she can turn and look at everything in sight. She seems like she's going to be a pretty curious one...
Anna discovered this week that she has feet! They are her newest favorite toy...she pulls them up and plays with them constantly! And, the "This little piggy..." game has taken on a whole new level of excitement. She hasn't ventured to put her feet in her mouth yet, but she's certainly sticking a lot of toys there these days!
Well, the day has finally come that Anna is too big for her Moses basket and is now sleeping in her crib full-time! She's been sleeping in the Moses basket in a bassinet in our bedroom since she was born. This pic is the last shot of her in Moses basket...it has officially been retired now until a future little brother or sister comes along.
Anna had her first dip in the pool last weekend. She loved it! She was looking pretty glam sporting the fancy shades while lounging by the pool. Life as a 3 month old is tough stuff...
